Pending messages in the capped stream

As of now (I am using Redis 5.0.5) if there are pending messages in a consumer group and the stream gets capped / trimmed due to limits and the pending message ID is removed from the stream it is still in the pending list.

Do you know if this behavior is official and will be supported further on (as opposed to removing it from the pending list)?
