Create Readonly User for redis in different env

Hello,
i wanted to setup a readonly access username for a env . Do we have any guidelines to set it up ?

User management and permission levels aren't really a "thing" in redis... So... probably not.

You could perhaps create a read-only replica (slave) and give access to that?

Appreciate the feedback . I have 3 node cluster one master and 2 slaves . How do I accomplish creating read only access on slave [ replica ] ?

It sounds like you already have this, then. Just point them at one of the slaves and tell them to issue the READONLY command before anything else: https://redis.io/commands/readonly
