Redis PUB/Sub with Socket.io on AWS peak query time

Dear Communities,

Could you please help to suggest us?
We use socket.io on nodejs to connect with Redis on aws cloud (default.redis6.x) [ cache.r6g.large 13gb memory.

but when the people join subscribers on aws around 2,000 concurrent users.
It use around 33 sec -45 sec to pub/sub

Could you please suggest us or guide us the problem?

From experience Redis doesn't behave well over 1000 concurrent connections.

Each subscription requires a single connection, so I am surprised it works with 2k :)
