Hi,
Not familiar with Unix sockets and would appreciate your confirmation.
Using 2.2.4 domain sockets support can I connect multiple client
processes to the same socket (/tmp/redis.sock) for read/write
operation the same way I do for TCP sockets? (

Yes, you can.
The only constraint is your clients must be on the local host,
and have R/W access to the socket pseudo-file.
