Need help to run redis on windows 7 32 bit os

       I'm using windows 7 32 bit. I download redis 2.8.8 through ur website http://redis.io/download.
When i extract downloaded redis 2.8.8 ZIP file. I did't get redis-server.exe file under redis 2.8.8 DIRECTORY and also redis-cli.exe file on src DIRECTORY
      I am not able to run redis on my system(Windows 7 32bit) and i got struck from past 3 days..Any help would be appreciable..!!

NOTE: I need to run redis on windows 7 only not LINUX OR UBUNTU OR any other OS

Hi Rajesh,

Windows is not supported by Redis. There is an unofficial port of Redis
by the Microsoft Open Tech Group. The code can be found in the GitHub
repository: https://github.com/MSOpenTech/redis

You still have to built it on your own.

Did you try the MS open tech build? I suspect that is built for 64 (since it is called redis-64), bit still worth a try. You may also be able to build the ms open tech source - see the github link from the redis-64 package on NuGet.

But frankly: you'll do better on 64 bit.

TIL : there are 32-bit binaries available on NuGet: http://www.nuget.org/packages/Redis-32/

That should be all you need. They are probably also on chocolatey.

You can find an old 32-bit version at http://www.nuget.org/packages/Redis-32/. It is based on the 2.6.12 version. We don’t plan to update it, our newer releases are for 64-bit only.
