The EC2 case of SAVE 3 minutes, BGSAVE 20 minutes, IMHO shows how
pathological EC2 is as a platform with given workloads... assuming:
1) It was not swapping at all.
2) The traffic was not something like triggered by redis-benchmark
-P32 -r .. -n ...
In case "1", the bad behavior will be the same everywhere.
In case "2", you are really pushing it to its limits.
Even if case "2" in bare metal will behave a lot better.
Could you please give some hint about how this result was obtained? Thanks!
