Hello Sam,

I recommend that you contact RedisLabs' support (sup...@redislabs.com) with this question as it is about the Enterprise version.

In a nutshell, some modules do not support clustering so choosing one these disables that choice. A custom module needs to explicitly declare its cluster compatibility via the relevant configuration directive in its RAMP's module.json file.

Hi,

RedisLabs enterprise software, Version 5.2.0-14

When creating a database, it appears that Redis Modules and clustering can't be activated at the same time for a custom Redis Modules.

1. Check "Database clustering"
2. Check "Redis Modules"
3. "Database clustering" is automatically unchecked and greyed out

This issue only appeared with a custom Redis Modules.
For out-of-the-box RLEC Redis Modules, there was no issue to check "Redis Modules" and "Database clustering" at the same time.

Please advise how to enable a custom Redis Modules for clustering with RLEC?

Thanks.

Hi Itamar,

Thank you for the info. Yes, once I added "-C clustering" to RAMP pack command utility, the packed custom modules can be activated for an Enterprise database with clustering enabled.

Thanks,
Sam
