How to sync data between different redis instances

Hi Team,

We are planning to upgrade our existing self-managed Redis cluster to new hardware. We need to transfer all data between these instances. What is the best method to migrate all caches?

We have tried slaveof <source> <port> but it is giving us issues when we are connecting that slave back to it's original setup. 

Any suggestions ?

We tried to migrate Redis cluster live by adding slave from new cluster, after all are sync switch to master in new cluster and cut off the nodes from old cluster.
