ofcourse the answer is simple ...you need to modify the grub.conf or
lilo.conf...

Plz send me the steps or send me the grub.conf file.

Hello Reddy,

Regarding installing multiple linux in a single disk, I think you will
have to Install all the linux in their respective partions like every
version should have its own different partion of /boot and /, and only
one distro should have it's IPL(initial program loader) in MBR, and
rest other distro's should have their IPL (grub or lilo, whichever u
use) in their FBR.

After that, you can make the chain loader entries in the grub.conf or
lilo.conf of the distro which has its IPL in MBR of other distros which
has their IPL in FBR, or may be if you install the higher version later
it will automatically append them.

Further, you can have one or more partions shared between these distros
too, just mount it in every distro through /etc/fstab.

I think, this should work, although I haven't actually tested it, but I
think I will give it a try or u try and let me know.

At least install them all, we can later install their respective grubs
to that FBR or MBR later using grub-install, can't we?. Or, if in
between i get to know more about it, i will let u know.... ;-)

Best of luck,

Regards,
