Hi, I have a website that I would like to have mod_proxy enabled for it, but
my host doesn't know how to do it. I ssh'ed in and it doesn't look like the
module libproxy.so is even present, which would indicate to me that they
compiled apache without mod_proxy.

Is there any way to add mod_proxy to an installation after it has already
been installed? I was thinking of just copying the file libproxy.so from
another server into the modules directory and adding the respective lines to
httpd.conf, but I am not sure if this would work or not. Does anyone have
any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mike Robinson

It would be helpful if you had said about which Redhat release your are
speaking so we would know about which Apache version your are speaking.
