Hi there all,

Which file does redhat read the kernel version from when running "uname
-r"?

[root@localhost]# uname -r
2.4.21-32.EL

Can I edit a file and get linux to treat as if it has 2.4.21-32.0.1.EL
without installing 0.1 patch?
