A new Fedora 13 system, after acting normally for about a week
suddenly stopped booting.

The stage in the boot sequence where things stop seems to be three
processes. as follows

rcs post-stop process
vpac cleanup main process
readahead-disable-services main process

all processes have the same error: failed to spawn, no such file or
directory

I can boot from another system and access the Fedora 13 system and all
three files are present and in the correct directory and as far as I
can tell by trying to run the processes from the command line all
three are functional. In desperation I copied all of them to both
/boot and /boot/grub with no evident change .

Anyone got an idea of what happened? And how to fix it?

Cheers,

John B.
