The system does not seem to be able to connect to the parallel port so I can
use the printer.
When I try to set up a printer using printtool, the program can not seem to
detect that I have a parallel port.
I am sure there is a simple answer as I would have thought detecting a parallel
port would be quite simple?
Has anyone got any suggestions?
Add the line below to /etc/conf.modules
alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
Then use printtool to configure your printer.
Hope this helps.
