With the generous support of the Universidad de Los Andes, the Rachel
Carson Center <http://www.carsoncenter.uni-muenchen.de/index.html> and the
Universidad Nacional de Colombia,
SOLCHA<http://solcha.uniandes.edu.co/info.php/15/index.php>is about to
celebrate its First
Postgraduate School on Latin American and Caribbean Environmental
History<escuel...@uniandes.edu.co>in Bogotá, June 3 to 7. This
event, which takes place at the Universidad de
Los Andes, will gather 18 Master and Ph.D. students for a one-week
activities including a cartographic workshop, reading seminars, project
presentations, a fieldtrip and three conferences. The latter will be free
and open to the general audience.

I am pleased to invite any interested person to the following conferences:
