Dear List members,

Please find attached an advertisement for a post-doctoral position for an anthropologist interested (e.g.) in human-animal encounters, public/global health, African studies, food/farming/agriculture.  The post is based at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin within an interdisciplinary project (LAROCS) concerned with human-rat encounters and Lassa fever in Guinea and Sierra Leone, led by Dr. Matthias Borchert (Charite).  It will involve ethnographic fieldwork in these countries, primarily in Guinea.  Dr. Ann Kelly (Exeter) and Dr. Hannah Brown (Durham) are anthropological advisers on the project.

The closing date for applications is 31st July 2013.  Please circulate the job advertisement through your networks.
