A special message to let you know that we are recruiting a Research Associate to work with us on a new ESRC project on shared housing/communal living, led by Sue Heath with Gemma Edwards and Katherine Davies. The deadline is in two weeks, so we encourage anybody who would like to apply to sharpen their pencils (or warm up their typing fingers, as applications are online).

£31,331-£36,298, 30 months (fixed term, full time)

 

Deadline for applications Tuesday 23 April 2013, with interviews on Thursday 2 May (pm).

 

The postholder will work on a new ESRC project: ‘Under the same roof: the everyday relational practices of contemporary communal living’ led by Professor Sue Heath, with Dr Gemma Edwards and Dr Katherine Davies.

 

Applications are invited from candidates with or about to complete a PhD in a relevant social science discipline (eg sociology, human geography, anthropology, social policy) and with a strong grounding in qualitative research methodologies. Applications are particularly welcome from those with research expertise in a related topic area and with extensive experience of qualitative interviewing and analysis of qualitative interview data.
