"Youth4Climate’s Call for Solutions is a global innovation challenge for Youth and Youth-led organizations working on climate action focused projects.
The Call aims to fund new and existing youth-led solutions that are ready to implement or scale, and to support the further development of young people's ideas and projects by providing relevant learning opportunities with the support of partners.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Applicants must be:
a) either Young Individuals aged 18 to 29 at the time of applying;
or
b) a legally registered, youth-led civil society organization (CSO), non-governmental organization (NGO), community-based organization (CBO), or company with the majority of the organization’s leadership being young people aged 18 to 29 years at the time of submitting the application.
2. The project lead for the organization:
a) should be aged 18 to 29 at the time of submitting the application;
b) must be a national of one of the eligible countries
3. The proposed project must be implemented in one of the eligible countries.
4. This year, applicants can apply under the following thematics / priority areas:
• Sustainable Energy;
• Food & Agriculture;
• Climate, Peace and Security;
• Oceans and Blue Economy;
• Sustainable Fashion and Textiles;
• Architecture for Adaptation.
5. Proposals:
a) can request up to USD 30,000 in seed funding (all-inclusive budget);
b) should be implemented over a maximum of 24 months;
c) can be submitted in English, French, Spanish or Portuguese.
6. All applications have to be completed on the Application Portal.
7. Each applicant will only be able to submit one application form on the portal.
Projects at any maturity level - including idea‑stage, early‑stage, or growth‑stage - are eligible as long as the applicant(s) demonstrate a strong design and a feasible implementation plan.
