Gordon Haff is cloud evangelist at Red Hat. Prior to Red Hat, he wrote hundreds of research notes, was frequently quoted in publications like The New York Times on a wide range of IT topics, and advised clients on product and marketing strategies. Earlier in his career, he was responsible for bringing a wide range of computer systems, from minicomputers to large UNIX servers, to market while at Data General. He has engineering degrees from MIT and Dartmouth and an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson School.
Joe Fitzgerald, Senior Director, Cloud Strategy, Red Hat
Joe Fitzgerald helps shape Red Hat's cloud strategy and solutions. Joe is the former CEO and co-founder of ManageIQ, a leading provider of enterprise cloud management solutions, which was acquired by Red Hat and is now an integrated part of Red Hat CloudForms. Joe also co-founded Novadigm (NASDAQ: NVDM), a provider of large-scale configuration management solutions, recognized by Gartner and IDC for its signature desired-state and policy-based management innovations and many times over as a Gartner “magic quadrant” leader. Through the acquisition of Novadigm by Hewlett Packard’s Software Business Unit, Joe became the CTO and Director Product Development and was honored as an HP distinguished technologist in 2005. Joe has over 30 years of experience providing operations, systems and configuration management solutions to hundreds of enterprise class IT organizations worldwide and has co-authored numerous patents including those underlying ManageIQ’s adaptive management and Novadigm’s desired state technologies.
