Greetings, Friends;

Thank-you to all who have lent a hand to the Redeployment Health
Speakers Bureau. We are closing in on a customizable product, and
hope to roll it out very soon to our sister AAFP chapters.

To date, Dr. Mark Flynn has graciously allowed out his AAFP PowerPoint
presentation, “Wounded Warriors: Enduring Care for the Returned
Military Member and Their Families,” as a template for our Speakers
Bureau talk. Thank-you for the assist.

Meanwhile, Dr. Jeffrey Quinlan is working on the AFP piece that will
form the written portion of the effort to get out the message about
our returning soldiers.

Dr. Tim Switaj has taken the initiative and modified and created brief
slide sets on PTSD and TBI as it relates to our returning veterans.
While Drs. Matt Pflipsen, Jay Allen, Jarrett Sands have volunteered to
create other slide sets.

Others, including Dr. Chris Warner and Dr. Bruce Deschere have also
offered their assistance.

A big thank-you to those who have committed to help on this project.
We are still looking for additional help and would be glad to have you
come on board. Please email me at aaron....@us.army.mil if you are
interested. Our timeline is getting short, and, with your help, we
can put together a quality product that benefits all of our service
members.

Cheers,

Aaron
PS. I have posted the slide sets from Drs. Flynn and Switaj on the
google site.

Good evening!

I just wanted to give you a quick update on the draft presentation
template. We have a new addition showing both the scope of deployment
and theater patterns of injury courtesy of Dr. Katy Garner, as well as
a draft of the upcoming AFP piece, "Care of the Returning Veteran" by
Drs. Quinlan, Gauron, Deschere, and Stephens. Please check them out!
