Facebook Event is now live

Hey guys,
I put together a Facebook Event for the BarCamp. It's now accessible here:

There's two things I'd like to do before we start promoting it. First,
the description needs a copy edit. I'm open to any and all feedback.
If you'd like, I can make you an admin to the event so you can make
changes yourself. Second, we still need some type of logo. What I'm
thinking right now is just a simple icon that conveys J school, and we
can slap the name of the event and the BarCamp logo on the bottom. I'm
hoping that there's an artistic one of is in the bunch :) Otherwise,
I'll keep looking and put something together tomorrow

Sweet. I think the copy for the description looks pretty good. What if
that last bullet point read "How to get paid internships or strike out
on your own project?" It could provide some interesting discussion on
the stick within conventions/move outside of them lines.

I'm still toying around with driving out to Eugene so I'll let you
know when I decide. A lot will depend on when I can get this Senior
Seminar paper done (which is due the Friday of ACP :(.

PS Andrew, you should totally come down. You can attend the SPJ thing
on Saturday too and that will make it a conference for 5 days out of
7 :) Plus you'll have Monday and Tuesday distraction-free to jam on
the paper
