- Daniel will set up a wiki with general information on the home page,
a page for brainstorming sessions, a page for registrations and
signups, and a things to do page
- Suzi is going to confirm that we have access to Allen Hall for
Sunday afternoon. We're planning for a 12 to 4 barcamp
- Suzi will confirm food with Cafe Yumm
- Whitney will figure out the budget for index cards, bagels and cream
cheese, coffee, tea, etc.
- Jennifer is going to talk with Ericka of SPJ about sponsoring the event
- Suzi will talk to PRSSA about sponsoring the event (our goal is to
bring more organizations on as sponsors)
- Evan will start drafting a logo
We're going to wait on heavily promoting the event until we have a
wiki and Facebook Event to drive people to. In the interim (i.e. the
next week), we want to bring as many people on as planners and
sponsors. Ideally, we'll get most of the work done in the next week or
so, but we need a greater body of people to get the word out and start
conversation about it
Any questions? The next meeting is on Tuesday at 6 pm in the EMU
Fishbowl (same time and same place). We should shoot to have at least
15 people there, and we'll keep the meeting itself to under 30
minutes. Our goal is to have those new people well enough versed in
what we're trying to do such that they feel capable of verbally
communicating the idea to their friends
