Robin and gang,
Yeah! You've started and I love your feisty resistance! Yes. Do it anyway. We can work toward having a new experience of things both by dropping our old stories first as well as practicing the same old things and watching for the possibility of having a different experience emerge, even as our old resistance-producing stories chime on. This journalling practice is the foundation for all the future work of the book, which I know you get or you wouldn't be doing it at all, and I'll venture a guess that a new insight will become available to you simply by pushing past the resistance and seeing what shows up. For sure, you're getting to see your stories about dieting and food and weight starting to emerge. This is the point! We want to see what's beneath the surface. Awareness alone can be hugely transformative. And when it's not it will still prove useful in propelling us along on our personal food journey. You will see how as you go. thanks for being open and trusting the process.
And ahh, our endlessly judging mind...it's great noticing and keep practicing. Shifting from the lens of I'm inadequate, I'll never, I just can't, it's impossible....
...to what opportunities are available here, looking at how I can generate more of this missing peice in my life, asking what snack will nourish me, etc.
Nice work!
Thank you for sharing and joining us on this journey....
Love and blessings, Yiska
