I'm Jennifer and I live in Smithfield, NC, with my husband,
geriatric dog, and middle-aged cat. ( I am somewhere in between those
ages) My three sons all live within commuting distance - ages 28, 26,
and 23. We will be welcoming a girl into our family next June when my
oldest son gets married. YES!
I have steadily gained weight since 1996 for a variety of reasons
( excuses). I tend to use food for comfort but also eat more when I
am tired. For some reason I keep thinking that if I will just eat the
right thing I will get a boost of energy....but I have trouble eating
that "right" thing. Often it is because it is not available or I am
so onery that I rebel and eat what gives instant gratification.
I want to become more intentional about what I put in my
mouth...not only for weight reasons but spiritual as well. I want to
relearn how to savor what I eat. This is why I am looking forward to
this program and its refreshing approach.
I heard about it all from Janice whom I know very well. I will
vouch for her endorsement of Sarah and Yiska.
