We are planning on working using open text 10.1 Web cms.

I have dot net expertise can code in C# or vb.net also can code in
classic asp.

We are expecting some work from city client on there existing web
changes, all i can see is just html content developed in open text
10.1

asking us to create few more pages with just content, still trying to
understand the software.

Thank you all for the helpful info.

Hi Raj,
You can certainly include .NET code within Open Text CMS and extend the functionality that way. Usually this is done via registering user controls in the web.config and then including them within the required content classes. There's quite a bit of information within this group on this topic and also a good write-up with salient comments here:

Hopefully that should be enough to get you up and running; feel free to repost with any questions as you move forward :)

All the best,
Ben.

Thank you very much Ben for the helpful info.

But still would like to know what inline coding language does Open text 10.1 web cms use.

also we call asp.net based projects as solution explorer which shows all the pages that are part of web site or application.

In red dot open text web cms, what do you call when you speak to some body who is technical.

I don't want to use the dot net terminology, if i ask someone how many web pages are part of the open text cms project. and their project hierarchy.

kind regards,
Raj

You should look into getting some formal developer training. 3 days Portland you'll be up and running.

Regards,
Richard.
