G'day folks.
The RedDot project I am working in has two publishing variants. One
publishes to a test site, and the other publishes to the production
site. If I choose to publish a page to both variants at the same time,
the result is that one page will publish fine, but the other will not
publish; actually it publishes with reddot tags. It seems to be hit
and miss which will publish successfully.

When I view the html source of the failed page on the website, it
shows:

<!IoRangePreExecute>

<%
'TimerPageStart = timer()
'used to hide openpage RedDots elsewhere
FoundationOpen = 0

%>

<!/IoRangePreExecute>

<!IoRangePreExecute>
<%
Dim curPageId : curPageId = "1234"
Dim curPageGUID : curPageGUID = "68CE3C4FEE384JC7A21FD005D86792BN"
Dim curPageURL : curPageURL = "/abc/1234.html"

So it appears that the page is not being parsed before being
published. Any ideas what might cause this?
Thank you.

We get the same type of behaviour. Support has told us to publish
only one variant at a time.

Hi everyone,

Just out of curiosity, does the same issue occur when publishing out a
simple page that has no preexecution?

Also if the code is just for reddots, you should wrap it in SmartEdit only blockmarks it would be the most efficient for page builder and should be ignored on publish,
