IE8 and the RadEditor in Version 9 Build 9.0.1.29

So I have a weird problem here that OT support says is unique to our campus. I just can’t believe we are that special..
Here is the case:
In some instances of IE8 when we pull up the RadEditor, we get the HTML in the editor only with no toolbars. The save and ok buttons are present, but do nothing. There is a JS error, line 73 char 3.
In some instances I have been able to fix this by going to internet options in IE, and clicking the reset button in the advanced area. In some instances this does not work.
Mozilla browsers are completely unaffected.
I’m looking for corollary instances to see if I can raise the noise level on this particular bug that has thus far not been reported by anyone but the University of Arkansas.
