Chinese letters and Message- or RDB-Dynament

Hi,

was anyone of you successful in sending Chinese data from a form by
mail (Message-Dynament) or inserting in a mysql database (RDB-
Dynament)?

I am not able to get it working, there are always ??? where I await
the Chinese letters.

Hello Stefen,

I dont know if you are sending the Chinese data from CMS Template or
any where else.

But I also faced the similar issue where I had to publish some Chinese
characters existing as a placeholder value which were getting
published in the form of ???
The solution for me was, I had to select the "Published charset" as
"utf-8" in the Language Variant Settings.
