What is the procedure to install the web project on a win 2003 32 bit server IIS., on this server i do not have no open text red dot web mgmt serevr software.

Reason i want to install is to show a third party team to have access to the website. for that reason i have our server which is based on win 2003 32 bit server has IIS.

I already have 40 asp.net based sites on this server every site has public static IP, now want to install this new site which is part of open text red dot.

All i have on this box is asp.net , IIS 6.0 on win 2003 server 32 bit.

Thanks a lot for the helpful info.

MS 9.x and 10.x can be installed on win 2003 x86, with II6.

11.x can only be installed on x64 OS.

Please refer to the installation documentation that comes with the installation files for more information.

Here is a quick installation checklist if you decide to install 9.x or 10.x

Hello Jian, Thanks for the reply.

I don't have Red dot open text software, all i have is win2003 OS with IIS 6.0, Visual studio .net software installed on this serverit is a 32 bit.

In order for me to run the run time web content, do i need to have the open text software installed on our server?

Kind regards.
Raj

Have you had the training? To install Reddot you will need a license as well.

Raj,

The server that hosts your published content does not need any OpenText software; just a web server of your choice.

Cheers,

Gavin
