Hi,

If you are using Asset Manager to store JSP files, You can always go
to SmartTree -> Administer Project Setting ->Folder then choose folder
in which You keep jsp files, edit its content and then choose file via
asset manager you want to find, and on the right side you will find
"Show Usage". It will give you the ID's of the pages that are using
your jsp file. And by using this ID you can find your jsp in structure
in Smart Tree. Of course it is not the best solution, but can be
helpful with small number of those jsp.. Otherwise it won't be
effective solution...

If your jsp files are actually part of the project structure (created
from templates), you can view all named pages via
SmartTree > Administer Project Structure > Project > Edit All File
Names

Thanks for all the inputs!

Mark,

I would like to know, if that is the only way I can find the JSP's in
the Adminster Project Structure. When I click on Edit all Files option,
it lists all files with all extensions, but how do I filter to get
only the *.jsp files? Pls suggest.

Paul,

Thanks for your update as well. I have my jsp's in the Administer
Project Structure. Need a way to find the .*jsp's from there. Pls
suggest.

cheers

How you find the JSPs, really depends on how you've implemented them.
If they're all from a common template (or set of templates), you can
find the pages via:
SmartTree > Administer Content Classes > Folder > Content Class >
Instances

Otherwise, I don't think there's a direct way to do it via the
interface.
You could write an RQL version with some script logic (e.g. asp/.net)
of the Edit All File Names function then filter/action accordingly.

I agree with PaulG. I think there is no direct way to find those
files. There are only two options. If you are using templates (Content
classes) to create jsp, then the way to find all of them in project
structure navigator, is simply to check it as PaulG suggest:
SmartTree > Administer Content Classes > Folder > Content Class >
Instances. But if you are using jsp as a file added for example via
Asset Manager, I think better solution would be to check there those
files, and where they are (SmartTree -> Administer Project Setting -
>Folder then choose folder in which You keep jsp files, edit its
content and then choose file via asset manager you want to find, and
on the right side you will find "Show Usage".).

Well, RQL is also good solution, but it depends how much time do you
have and how many files there will be to find, if there is a big
amount of files - RQL solution can be better.

Thanks a lot! Now my next task is to look into RQL's :(.....
