I need to delete about 1000 files from Delivery Server. (They are the remnants of a server migration).

Each one takes about 3 mins to delete (so if I'm working 8 hrs a day, it will take about 6 days....). Anyone know of a quick way to delete a set of files?

Can you send some more information about:
- Delivery Server Version
- DB Version
- OS
- How do you delete the content? Which actions do you perform in DS admin UI?

Thanks
Markus

Markus, the DS version is Version 10.1 Build 10.1.2.337 SP2

DB Version is Version 10.0.4064 (SQL 2008)

OS is Windwos 2008 R2

To delete the content I select all available documents on each page and select the delete action ('Delete Items Selected').

@VegeJuice,

in DS Admin there is a filter option over the list of content groups. using that you can apply a content group, file naming *.htm, and other constraints. then click "Edit".
the next dialog has the ability to delete all the selected contents. Be careful with your selections that you don't delete more than you want. Always good to do backups (exports/transport packages).

Best,
Tim

Don't delete Content Groups unless they are empty. At least on some versions deleting may result in object mapping errors for the JDO layer.
