HI,

I think verity and LiveServer are independent when we install them.

We have to configure the verity search by running the lsk2configure script. I think this creates the link between LiveServer and Verity.

Then we start the verity server with lsk2serverstart script and we stop it with lsk2serverstop script. We can see the list of indexes in liveserver once we run thes 2 scripts and make 3 changes in configuration.

Would be great if there are more responses.

Regards,
Rakesh.

Hi All!

I am not quite sure as to how Verity is used with RedDot, so this
question may seem odd, but how one start's the actual Verity(k2)
service on the LiveServer system?

You will find the scripts in ::

C:\Program Files\RedDot\LiveServer\tomcat\webapps\suppai\WEB-INF\bin for windows system.

I think it is different though(at least in this ase). I believe
LiveServer invokes Verity via JNI.

Now I just wonder if this is a default behavior or is it something
that is just specific to this particular system.
