Hello all,

in my project I use some media elements. There I have to choose a
preassigned asset manager folder which will be used to store files for
the element. Now I recognized that when filling this media element in
a page is not possible to switch the folder in the asset manager. Only
the preassigned folder ist available.
This is perfect in most cases, but I got some where I would like to
give the editors the possibility to change the folder (one folder for
media elements, one for docs). Is there a possibility to get rid of
this behaviour?

Thanks a lot in advance, guys!
Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately not, a media element can only point to one asset manager
folder. File system asset manager folders can have one level of sub
folders, although that system doesn't work as nice as you'd like.

Best,

Thanks Eric, that was exactly the same information that I got from OT
support. It is possible to change subfolders of a asset manager folder
saved on file system.
