Arte y Ciencia - Haciendo Contacto en Perú

Es un placer unirme a esta red. Mi nombre es Thom Kubli y soy un artista y compositor de Berlín. Visitaré Perú a principios de julio y me gustaría conocer personas del ambiente académico en Lima que compartan mi interés por el arte, la música y el trabajo interdisciplinario.
Me gustaría conectarme con La Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú con el departamento de Arte y Diseño y/o con la Facultad de Artes Contemporáneas de la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Si conoce a alguien en estas instituciones que pueda estar interesado en el discurso del arte interdisciplinario, estaré encantado de contactarlo y conocerlo.
Vengo del campo del sonido y la música pero me especializo en instalaciones inmersivas y nuevas tecnologías, como máquinas artísticas y conceptos basados en IA. Mis experiencias incluyen trabajar en proyectos interdisciplinarios con MIT Media Lab, NASA, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute y muchas otras instituciones científicas y académicas.
Estoy trabajando con la Universidad Nacional de Colombia en Bogotá y planeamos un proyecto de investigación en junio de 2024 dentro del Amazonas. Después de eso me encantaría hacer mi primera visita al Perú. Sería fantástico encontrarme con colegas allí y tal vez intercambiar ideas sobre el futuro del arte interdisciplinario en el Perú. Estoy convencido de que hay un gran potencial para este tema.
Básicamente, este sería mi primer contacto con una institución en el Perú. Estaré encantado de contribuir con una conferencia sobre los temas descritos anteriormente. Además, estoy abierto a unirme a rondas temáticas de discusión pública o seminarios para estudiantes si lo deseo.

It's my pleasure to join this network. My name is Thom Kubli, and I am an artist and composer working in Berlin. I will visit Peru in early July and would like to meet people in the academic environment in Lima who share my interest in art, music, and interdisciplinary work.

I come from the field of sound and music but specialize in immersive installations and new technologies, such as artistic machines and AI-based concepts. My experiences include working on interdisciplinary projects with MIT Media Lab, NASA, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and many other scientific and academic institutions.
I am working with the Universidad National de Colombia in Bogotá and we plan a research project in June 2024 within the Amazonas. Following that I would love to make my first visit to Peru. It would be great to meet colleagues there and maybe exchange ideas on the future of interdisciplinary art in Peru. I'm convinced there is a great potential for this topic.
Basically, this would be my first contact making to an institution in Peru. I'd be happy to contribute with a lecture about the themes described above. Further, I'm open to joining thematic public discussion rounds or student seminars if desired.
