Thanks for the reply Henrik. I tried to just sudo gen install
cucumber, and it seems to install fine. If I list my gems folder, I
see it is installed:

I also re-ran the apt-get commands, but it just returned that all of
the packages were installed.
I still get the same cucumber not found error when I run rake build

I searched around a bit, but I couldn't find anything similar to what
I was facing. I did see a number of issues with ruby-gnome2, but I
don't think that is my issue.
