Scriptable?

I would like to know if you plan on making Redcar scriptable a la
Emacs but in Ruby?

That's the plan!

In fact, since Redcar is written all in Ruby, that's the default. The
trick is to make it simple and convenient. And well-documented.

What kinds of things would you like to do?

What I am looking for is being able to manipulate the text that I am
editing.

So I guess that access to a buffer-like object with a text attribute
would be enough for my needs... for now :)

I will give it a try as soon as github is back up.
