A reminder that in two weeks we have our first 40k events of 2016!
Thursday evening, Jan 28, we'll have our first Beginners' Battles. If you just started a 40k army or are interested in trying 40k, this is your chance to come out for some pure teaching and demonstration games. We'll have forces on hand to use, so you don't need to have your own army, and any models you do have certainly don't need to be painted. For the veterans out there, this is also a great target to get started on that new faction you've been talking about for years while helping teach and recruit newcomers to the hobby. I am in fact personally hard at work on getting together the start of my own secret new army!
That following
Sunday evening, Jan 31, we'll have a
Narrative One-Shot for the
Burning Stars storyline begun with our
Winter Combat Patrol. Game play will be casual, and beginners are more than welcome. There is no disadvantage to having not played in the Combat Patrol. We will be organizing into alliances for the evening to make some storyline decisions and match pairings, and game results will continue to drive the narrative forward. I hope you can join us!
Calendar details:
