A quick update on our big summer event,
LibertyHammer, coming up on June 25+26! We are now at one month to go, and it's shaping up really well.
Registration
With plenty of time still to go, registration is looking very solid. For that Saturday's solo event we have 14 paid registrations already, out of a max of 32. Only three of those are
Redcap's Corner or
PAGE 40k regulars, so we hope there are a good number of people still to sign up, and look forward to seeing a bunch of new faces. For that Sunday's doubles event there are already 10 teams paid up, out of a max of 16, so there's a very good chance that day will fill. Please keep helping us to spread the word in person, on Facebook, and in other forums!
Terrain
We took stock of all the terrain at
Redcap's and among
PAGE and have more than enough to outfit all the tables well. But several people have also been furiously building whole new exciting sets! Look forward to playing amidst a new hab block, refinery, airfield, and more. A small crew is getting together this Sunday to paint up a whole pile of freshly built stuff (contact
Joe K if you're interested in joining in). For all the locals, look forward to a day or evening get-together the week or so before
LibertyHammer to organize and spot repair all the terrain at
Redcap's.
Connected to the terrain builds, the campaign story is also coming together. Be prepared to fight for either Lord Cyrus or Governor Arsica in the battle for the Darian Sector! The last of the narrative specifics will get nailed down over the next week or so as it becomes clear what of the new story-connected terrain we can commit to getting done. Facebook users can get intermittent updates via the
event page, and we'll email out more info around mid-month.
Join the Battle!
Many thanks to everybody that has signed up already, it seems sure to be a great event! For everybody else, don't miss out! You can register quickly and easily with a credit card or PayPal account at
libertyhammer.com. You do not need to commit to both days, there is no disadvantage to you or your alliance for coming out for just Saturday or Sunday. Registration fees are all going toward lunches, small prizes, and a
charitable donation to the Free Library of Philadelphia. We look forward to seeing you there!
