May 40k: The Sword Sworn Narrative
Saturday, May 13, noon to 9:30pm
$10 per player, all to small store credit prizes
Long is the patience of the Emperor's enemies, waiting in the dark to strike at his most glorious heroes when the time is ripe. Now that moment has come for the vaunted Swords of Dorn, as one of their recruitment worlds is besieged and all their allies are called to its aid! This will be a narrative event, with small prizes rewarded for particular achievements rather than overall score (as well as craftsmanship). Players will divide into two alliances for the course of a 1-day campaign held over three rounds. Each player must bring a 1000pt army, with no other restrictions applied. Games will be played as doubles with a different alliance partner each round. Partners and match pairings will be determined by the alliances, along with strategic campaign decisions.
June 40k: LibertyHammer Narrative
1000pt Individuals
Saturday, June 24, 10am to 9pm
$25 per player, including small store credit prizes, pizza lunch, and donation to the Free Library of Philadelphia
Doubles
Sunday, June 25, 10am to 9pm
$50 per team, including small store credit prizes, pizza lunch, and donation to the Free Library of Philadelphia
A 40k narrative event continuing the story of the Darian Sector begun at last year's LibertyHammer weekend. Saturday features four 1000pt individual games and Sunday three rounds of doubles matches (1000pts per player). Players will fight for their alliance across the two days, but are free to only participate in one day or the other without penalty to themselves or their alliance. Both days will feature great terrain and our exciting, storyful missions: Shuttles crash, convoys are ambushed, civilians are slaughtered or saved, and many heroes and villains will be crowned! Small prizes will be awarded based on overall performance, craftsmanship, and particular achievements. This event is also an unofficial fundraiser for the Free Library of Philadelphia.
