Hello Experts,

REDCap's signature field type and eConsent framework ALMOST satisfies our local IRB requirements.  We are told we need to also provide a co-signature from the study investigator to accompany the signature from the volunteer subject.

If anyone knows how this can be done directly- please share! In the meantime, I have been wondering if some version of REDCap [piping] can display the signature graphics. Simply piping [sigsubject]] reveals the REDCap object serial number for the graphic. However, in the eConsent PDF that gets filed, the graphic is visualized.

IIs there a way I can code to display the graphic image of the signature captured in a REDCap signature field?

Thanks!
-Tom

hey - I know my reply is almost a year later, but I've just found you guys + joined the forum :)

have you tried playing around with html? the signatures are saved as pngs within redcap. I've found this website quite helpful in the past, for calling our project's logo.

I've really been relying on HTML in REDCap, and our recent upgrade to v11 has been a major step forward with both eConsent and eSignatures.
* The new INLINE capabilities enabled me to recycle signature images
* The new Instrument save to print is a major major relief, as it enables saving PDF presentations of instruments with HTML formatting properly displayed. The other options all fall into REDCap's extremely limited text-only and difficult to read reporting.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion!
