DATA ENCRYPTION IN REDCAP VIA API

Hello everyone I'd like to find a way to encrypt data in Redcap using an API (either R or Python). So far, I haven't found any clues. It's certainly possible to encrypt the entire Redcap database. But what I'd like to do is encrypt specific columns: the social security number, but also the first and last name. In the absence of a solution, I'd be grateful for feedback from people who have already encrypted tables in Redcap or who know of projects where research teams have been able to encrypt data in Redcap in particular, the programming languages they've used via Redcap APIs.
