Redcap export to PDF - HTML anx CSS formatting not appearing nin PDF

We need the exported Redcap Survey results to closely match its hard copy PDF version as closely as possible - or look like it does in Redcap when the survey is being used. But the Redcap export to PDF strips all formatting - including no bolded questions, some field responses strung together in a long series instead of each on its own line, etc. I am having trouble finding information on how to control how to make an exported survey PDF record look like the online version. Not an option?  Always thought that was the entire purpose of PDF - honor what it sees.
