ReDBoX RIF-CS Import

Hi all,

We are importing our existing RIF-CS metadata records into ReDBoX by following this guide:

http://www.redboxresearchdata.com.au/documentation/how-to/import-rif-cs-into-redbox

Which worked fine until we tried to curate the records, which wrote this error to the transactionManager.log:

2012-12-07 08:45:43,010 transactionManager ERROR  ManagerQueueConsumer Invalid transformation order, 'vital' is not a configured transformer!

So we edited the home/harvest/workflows/dataset.json file changing:

    "transformer": {
        "curation": ["vital"],
        "metadata": ["jsonVelocity"]
    },

To:

    "transformer": {
        "curation": ["local"],
        "metadata": ["jsonVelocity"]
    },

Which seems to have solved the issue.

We were just wondering if there are any other changes that we need to make?
Like to the accompanying dataset-rules.py file?

Hi Nigel,

I've been working on an improved import script and am trying to finish it off atm. https://github.com/redbox-mint/redbox/tree/master/config/src/main/config/home/lib/jython/alertlib

It's based on issues I worked through in the how-to. I'm hoping to get on top of it in the coming days.
