Biogas for green jobs

This webinar focuses on the development of local biogas value chains for the creation of sustainable green jobs. Through the valorisation of waste streams, biogas technology can positively contribute to the local circular bioeconomy, providing green jobs, sustainable modern energy services, and beneficial by-products. Two case studies are presented – from Mexico and sub-Saharan Africa. The webinar will not only look in detail at these diverse cases but the discussion session will also provide an opportunity for learning between regions.

 

Este seminario se centra en el desarrollo de cadenas de valor locales de biogás para la creación de empleos verdes sostenibles. A través de la valorización de los flujos de residuos, la tecnología del biogás puede contribuir positivamente a la bioeconomía circular local, proporcionando empleos verdes, servicios energéticos modernos sostenibles y subproductos beneficiosos. Se presentan dos estudios de caso: de México y África subsahariana. El seminario web no solo analizará en detalle estos diversos casos, sino que la sesión de discusión también brindará una oportunidad para el aprendizaje entre regiones.
