All:

Instead of trying to remember exactly what we did at Sandy Hook, or
how we did it, (for planning purposes) focus on the PROCESS. You can
collect data anywhere. You can quantify anything.

For math teachers, quantitative analyses of sampling data extend far
beyond basic statistics. For science teachers like myself, scientific
concepts and analytical techniques are more important than any field
data. And tech teachers might simply want to demonstrate and apply
the role of technology in human endeavors.

Best of all: AUTHENTIC activities are hands-on, cost nearly nothing,
require students to interact w/ other students, integrate math/science/
technology/reading & writing, and they're FUN for both students and
teachers!

Seriously, think about the possibilities...

Have a great summer.
