All,

I have to start allocating the last bit of $$ for equipment and I
wanted to check to see if there were any items or materials I had
forgotten.

I am getting a Topo map for the Garmin GPS so that you will have
detailed map info for any area in the Northeast.

Also I am exchanging one of the CBL2's for another LabQuest which is
the easy to use unit for collecting and displaying probe data. Also I
will get another pH probe and dissolved Oxygen probe. Also I will see
if we can get a soil temp probe so that you could easily measure the
soil temp in the school yard or elsewhere.

I will get a bunch of posterboard for the Building Math: Stranded
activity on collecting water. I think there is enough material for
the Everest: Gearing Up activity.

I can get more dice for the How the West Was 1 game if you would
like.

I will bring a couple more copies of Best of Bugs and Just Passing
Through which are good math/science/engineering activities for the
younger grades.

Anything else anyone can think of? I feel like I forgot something...
maybe not.

Enough meters sticks? Digital thermometers?

Hope you all are staying dry there!! Any pics of tornadoes or other
crazy weather you've been having?

Cheers!
Greg

Greg:

Consider the purchase of ONE additional Oregon GPS in exchange for a
CBL2 (both are approximately $300 MSRP if I remember correctly) - will
simplify future training/instruction and enable users to perform
different applications at the same time.

Did you purchase a 1GB memory card (or better) for compact digital
camera? Due to small size, 32MB card included w/ new camera is nearly
useless.

And don't forget AA batteries...

Weather here stinks, although I'm sure it will improve in September.
Basic probability and Murphy's law nearly guarantee a picture-perfect
month!

Best,
Mark

Good morning. Any equipment needed for the wonderful new units you gave
us would be appreciated!

Thanks Denise, Mark,

I'll see if we have enough for the second Oregon 200. AA batteries
are on the list. The camera should have at least a 1 or 2 GB memory
card in it now. I'll add a bunch of posterboard for all the Building
Math stuff.

Sound good!
I'll be on vacation next week in the Adirondacks of NY. Enjoy!
