Summer 09

All,

I know we are still carving out the dates for the summer workshop.
But I need some help in planning...

Right now I am planning a chunk of time devoted to helping with tech
topics such as setting up a web site and developing some resources
that will be useful to you during the school year.

I have some other ideas but I need some feedback from you guys
first.

Have you used the Palm hand held devices in your classroom?
How have you used them in your classroom?
Have you had any training in using the Palms?

I'm thinking of including some water testing as a portion of the
workshop; perhaps go down to the water front to collect samples and do
some monitoring.

I'm sure I will have other questions in time but these will begin to
help plan to get some equipment for you. And have it ready for the
summer. Thanks!

All, I have to write an informational brief on the Summer Training,
including dates and teachers who will be coming. I need some dates that
work for those of you who would like to attend. We will pick the dates
that work for the greatest amount of teachers and Greg. We return back
to our school year on Sept 1st this year, and those of you who are
grades 4-6, there is a training for AVID here (Aug. 12/13), and there
are some SIT dates ( Aug. 17/18) for those of you on the SIT committee.
Please indicate what works for you, if you are planning on being a part
of the training. No response is necessary, if you are not planning on

Good morning. I just got notice that only two people have signed up for the Stevens Institute training in July. A letter of interest needs to go to John Bombardier today, so that you can be put on the next board meeting's agenda to get approved and paid in a timely fashion, thought you might like to know. d
