how to extend and customize visualization type when create a query

right now we can choose one of  boxplot ,chart,cohort,counter ,map

1.how to extend more using such echarts  library?

2.how to customize the presentation of existing visualization type?

is there any doc on these two subject

Unfortunately there is no documentation. Basically you need to create a directive for the visualization rendering and editing.  You can check previous pull requests for new visualization as a reference point (for example: https://github.com/EverythingMe/redash/pull/585/files). 

If  you have something specific in mind you want to add, please share more details, and I'll try to provide guidelines.
