New Project Updates

Minutes of the meeting held on 11th march 2014

The team will be divided in 2 halves, one will focus on Saksham while the other will work on the new Project i.e the collection and digitization of data in rural areas.

Saksham Work alloted

Pankhuri and Sanjana : Talk to schools regarding their paper waste management

Dhruva : Talk to the insti 

Prannoy and Dhruva : Talk to Birla Public Schools

Dhairik and Rachit: Contact Startups for sponsorship

New Project ( Pankhuri, we need a name)  Work alloted

Nandan : Talk to Bandhana

Gaurav : Talk to NSS

Dhairik Rachit : Look into Microfinance, Pharamaceutical data that can be collected and also the firms that might need them

I want all the updates by Saturday evening. We now meet on Wednesday.

I talked to the BBV guy, he's cool with it (didn't estimate the amount though). Will make the arrangements next week.

I talked to Malay regarding Bandhana and this is what they'll od

1. They provide mobile apps and other infrastructure to NGO's in order to help them carry on-ground Survey's rather than doing the surveys themselves.

2. Presently, their target is just the NGO's. They plan to move to Government Agencies but they need to turn themselves into a credible source first.

3. They do not involve villagers anywhere which is completely different from what we intend to do. 

So, according to me, we can go with the project as Bandhana has a completely different purpose than ours.

BBV needs storage space, Is the NSS room available? He'll arrange for the transportation.
