Hi everyone,

I want to implement a HTML5/Javascript client for a red5 video chat
application. The Client should run without Flash. Do somebody know a
good strategy or library to do that?

thx

There is no a way to capture the microfone without a plugin (aka flash, unity or even applet).

The Ericsson is working on that, but is not a standard yet:

Opera has a development version of their browser, which support the
devices tag in html5.

So it is possible to get the webcam stream via html5 and javascript.
With a javascript rtmp client it would be possible to build a simple
video chat without flash.
