I had a temptation to play this one game after seeing points 163-165
of "You know you're crazed with Les Miz if..."
(thankers, Zelma!)
So--yeah! I've never really played this game before, but I've heard
about it from a Rent forum
The Object of the Game: Link as many actors, singers, directors,
writers, etc. to each other to Les Miz if you can!
The Rules:
1) You can link people if they were involved in the same project (ie
both were in Rent or they were featured in a play that was directed by
so-and-so who also directed dum-dum which starred da-da-da-da..
Can't directly link two people through Miz tho')
2) You can link people if they played the same role (example Bebe
Neuwerth was Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago as was Frances Ruffelle
in the London cast)
3) You can't link people by something as large as 'They both won a
tony' or something like that

still to vague?

here's an example of a Miz-train:
Alun Armstrong was featured in the TAC of Les Miz as Thenardier
He was also in Eragon as the title character's uncle (he dies)
Also in Eragon as the title character's mentor was Jeremy Irons (he
also dies)
Jeremy Irons was also in the animated movie, The Lion King as Scar
Also in The Lion King as Timon was Nathan Lane who was also in The
Producers as Max Bialystock (he won a Tony for this role)
Also in The Producers was Gary Beach who played Roger Elizabeth Debris
(he also won a Tony for his role)
Gary Beach originated the role of Lumiere in the Broadway version of
Beauty and Beast
which also starred Terrence Mann as the Beast!
Terrence Mann also happend to originate the role of Javert in the OBC
of Les Miz!

So--there!
The longer the train, the better!
Whoever can think of the longest, most random train gets a tasty seal
of mizziness!
Happy Mizzing!
PS-I could've ended at Gary Beach (he played Thenardier in the Los
Angeles and Revival versions of Les Miz)
but I couldn't resist the Terrence Mann...
*throws fist up* Vive La Republique!

wa--touche! Johnny Depp!
Okays--longer!
Lea Salonga was in the TAC as Eponine
She was also in Aladdin as Jasmine's singing voice
Also involved with Aladdin was Scott Weinger (as the Title Character)
Who was in Full House as DJ's boyfriend (I'm a loser)
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson were also in this as Michelle (better as a
baby because she didn't have that evil catch-phrase)
Who both run a company called Dualstar Entertainment group
which now represents Dylan and Cole Sprouse
who are in Disney's The Sweet Life of Zach and Cody
which also features Ashley Tisdale
Who was apparently in Les Miz as Young Cosette on broadway

I just realized I linked the Olson Twins and a whole lot of Disney
stuffs to Les Miz...ew...
evil....
I'll think of a cooler one....

hooray for idina! okays--back! erm:
Gonna try to make up for the evil one which had the Olson twins in
it...with Sondheim!
*claps like a Broadway-geek*
Maybe, if I'm lucky, I can stick in the Pythons!
(We'll find out!)
Okays:
Phillip Quast was in the TAC and OAC of Les Miz as Javert
Phillip was also in Sunday in the Park with George as George
The music and lyrics from this musical were written by the Great
Sondheim (hooray for Sondheim!)
who also wrote music and lyrics for Sweeney Todd (he also concieved
the idea to make this thing in the first place)
Sweeney Todd is an operetta about a Homicidal Barber
Michael Palin also portrayed a Homicidal Barber (here's the clip:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9Ly2XCE3jQ)
(Hooray for Python!)
um....I'll think of something....
oh yes!
Michael Palin portrayed Sir Galahad in Monty Python and the Holy Grail
which was lovingly ripped off by its musical adaptation, Spamalot
which stars Tim Curry
who was in the Annie movie (which must be buried deep underground...)
which also starred a young Bernadette Peters (yay!)
who was in the OBC of Mack and Mabel
which has a London Concert Version
which has Frances Rufelle
Franny is the OBC and OWEC/OLC Eponine!
yay! it's long! and doesn't have Olson twins!
I'm happy now--I can die in peace!
(Though I'm sure the Spamalot is a stretch and twice I had a chance to
link George Hearn to this frenzy but didn't...maybe next time!)
